What you get

A limited company has more obligations than its director usually expects: annual accounts to Companies House, a CT600 to HMRC, Corporation Tax paid nine months and a day after the year end, a confirmation statement, payroll filed in real time every month, and VAT returns under Making Tax Digital if you are registered. We run all of it as one service, so there is one fee, one set of deadlines and one person who knows the answer.

The part directors value most is not the filing. It is knowing, before the year ends, what the tax bill will be and what the efficient way to take money out of the company is — salary, dividends, pension, timing. Once the year has closed, most of that is fixed, which is why an accountant you only speak to in the ninth month is an accountant who costs you money.

What is included

Bookkeeping in Xero

Kept current rather than reconstructed, with bank feeds and receipt capture set up for you.

VAT returns

Right scheme, filed under MTD, on time — including the domestic reverse charge if you work in construction.

Payslips, RTI submissions, auto-enrolment and P60s, every cycle.

Annual accounts and CT600

Prepared, reviewed, filed with Companies House and HMRC, with the tax explained before it is due.

Company secretarial

Confirmation statement and statutory registers kept in order.

Director remuneration

The salary and dividend mix reviewed each year against your actual needs, before year end rather than after.

Who it is for

London limited companies from the first year of trading upwards: contractors and consultants working through their own company, construction firms dealing with CIS and the reverse charge, trades and service businesses with a handful of employees, online sellers, and owner-managed companies that have outgrown doing the books themselves.

It is also for directors who are switching. That is a conversation people put off because they think it is awkward, and it is not: we write to your existing accountant for professional clearance and handle the handover, and there is no charge for the switch itself.

How it works

We start with a short questionnaire about the company — employees and how often they are paid, VAT status, whether CIS is involved, roughly how many transactions a month. That is what a real quote depends on, and it is why a price on a website without it is a guess.

Once you are on board we set the software up, bring the records current, and take over the calendar. You get the monthly figures in a form you can actually read, a conversation before the year end while decisions can still change the bill, and the filings done without you chasing them.

What clients say

Over fourteen years the firm has collected more than 1,300 published reviews across Google and Trustpilot, and both profiles are open for anyone to read before they pick up the phone.

What it costs

Company accounting is quoted, not listed, because the work genuinely differs: a single-director consultancy and a construction company with eight subcontractors and monthly payroll are not the same job. We send a short questionnaire, come back with a fixed monthly fee within a day or two, and that fee is what you pay — no hourly billing, and no invoice you have not seen coming.

Questions directors ask

What does it cost for a limited company?

It depends on the things that drive the work: employees and payroll frequency, VAT registration, whether CIS applies, transaction volume and how complicated the year is. We send a short questionnaire and come back with a real quote in a day or two, rather than advertising a number that would change the moment we saw your bank.

Can you take over mid-year?

Yes, and it happens constantly. We request professional clearance from your current accountant, get the records across and pick up from wherever the year has reached. Switching is free — we treat it as part of taking you on.

Is my own tax return included?

A director's Self Assessment is usually part of the arrangement, and we say explicitly whether it is in your quote rather than leaving it ambiguous until January.

We are close to the VAT threshold. What should we do?

Registration is compulsory once taxable turnover passes £90,000 on a rolling twelve-month basis, and voluntary before that. Which side of it you want to be on depends on your customers and your costs, and it is worth modelling before the threshold decides for you.

Do you work with construction companies?

Regularly. CIS returns, subcontractor verification and the VAT domestic reverse charge are routine here — the firm has worked with construction clients since 2012.
